Rod Stewart has been paying tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne during his One Last Time tour with an unusual AI-generated video that imagines the Black Sabbath frontman taking selfies in heaven with legendary musicians.

Stewart began dedicating his 1988 track Forever Young to Osbourne following the rock icon’s death last month at age 76.

Initially, the tribute included a brief photo of Osbourne on screen. In recent shows, however, it has evolved into a digitally rendered montage featuring Osbourne posing for selfies in an imagined afterlife alongside late music legends.

The AI video shows Osbourne smiling beside artists including Janis Joplin, Prince, Tina Turner, Bob Marley, 2Pac, Aaliyah, Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, George Michael, Kurt Cobain, XXXTentacion, Whitney Houston, and Amy Winehouse. Selfie sticks appear throughout the visual, adding a surreal layer to the scene.

Additional cameos from Jimi Hendrix and David Bowie also appear in the extended version of the clip, which has circulated online following Stewart’s performances in Charlotte, NC and Alpharetta, GA.

“Very sad, a lot of those people died ’cause of drugs,” Stewart said during his Charlotte show. “I’m still here, though!”

The video has drawn mixed reactions online, but remains part of Stewart’s nightly set as a tribute to Osbourne and other late icons.
