Senator Faisal Vawda has said that senior members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are betraying party founder Imran Khan, claiming he is being stabbed in the back by his own people.

In a post on social media platform X, he claimed, “I had informed the nation in advance that positive news was coming from America — and it has now arrived.”

He went on to say, “I had also said earlier that PTI’s so-called ideological people, who are stabbing the founder and the party in the back — including my friend Gandapur, who is now in the final stages of his rule — are offering their services to save themselves.”

Vawda accused PTI of financial misdealings, questioning “transactions worth billions of rupees,” and raised concerns about the party’s recent criticism of national institutions. “Why did Gandapur and the party suddenly start a campaign to defame institutions?” he asked.

He pledged to reveal further details upon returning to Pakistan. “I will tell the nation how and what kind of daggers were used. How did PTI secure only five Senate seats instead of eight, and why? What’s the story behind making Murad Saeed a senator?”

Vawda also warned of upcoming disqualifications of PTI leaders and said, “In the coming days, I will expose a dangerous plan of PTI. I will not allow PTI to play another game like Arshad Sharif.”
