The main suspect in the murder of a 13-year-old girl was shot and killed by police in Kasur's Kot Radha Kishan area during a raid by law enforcers.
A second suspect in the case was arrested in an injured condition. Police claimed that the raid was carried out after the suspects were located by police and the Counter-Crime Department (CCD) in Kasur district.
The body of the teenage girl was found in the fields around Kot Radha Kishan. According to investigators, the victim resided with the second suspect, Nageena Bibi, and was last seen with the two suspects.
Police officials said the girl was abused by the prime suspect, before she was taken to a secluded area and killed. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi had directed to apprehend those responsible for the crime.
