Multiple VTubers have announced their departure from VShojo following Ironmouse’s exit and allegations that the agency failed to pay $500,000 owed to The Immune Deficiency Foundation. The departures come as all VShojo members have had their VShojo verification removed from their X handles.

Ironmouse announced her departure on July 21, stating the agency owed her funds and had not paid the charity funds raised during her subathon.

Following this, Kuro stated he had already submitted a leave contract 11 days prior to Ironmouse’s announcement, adding, “I guess I’m an indie now.”

Projekt Melody also confirmed her departure, writing, “I was an OG talent, put my everything into this comp. But I’m beyond devastated at what happened.”

AmaLee announced her contract termination, noting she would return to independent streaming, stating, “I retain my IP… Thank you so much for your continued support as we look toward the future.”

Hime Hajime announced her exit, sharing that while she valued the connections made, she “can no longer be part of the company.”

Kson also departed, criticising VShojo for only caring “about money” and claiming she was owed payments since October 2024. During a live stream with VShojo CEO Makino, she stated that Japanese talents had not been paid, with Makino acknowledging payment issues.

Additionally, Michi Mochivie announced her move to independence, posting, “What a great way to start our journey into being Michi Mochivie from Michi Mochivie independent.”

At the time of writing, VShojo has not issued a public response regarding the allegations or the talent departures.
