The Foreign Office has said that Pakistan holds Iranian ambassador to Pakistan in high esteem and he is entitled to all diplomatic privileges.
The FO spokesperson said the Iranian envoy is highly respected in the country for his positive role. Being a close friend and ambassador of neighbouring country, he is entitled to all diplomatic privileges, protections and recognition, he added.
The FO spokesperson highlighted that the role of Iranian envoy is commendable to strengthen brotherly ties between Pakistan and Iran, adding the diplomatic relations between the two countries are based on mutual respect and dignity.
