Jessica Sanchez appeared on America’s Got Talent 2025 with a performance that resulted in a golden buzzer.

Known for being the runner-up on American Idol in 2012, Sanchez returned to the competition spotlight with a cover of “Beautiful Things.”

During the audition episode, judge Sofía Vergara pressed the golden buzzer, sending Sanchez directly to the live shows. She also shared a personal update onstage, Sanchez is married and expecting her first child.

This appearance marks Jessica Sanchez’s first time back on America’s Got Talent since her initial run as a 10-year-old contestant in the show’s inaugural 2006 season, where she reached the semifinals as a wildcard act. In 2012, she gained national recognition as the runner-up on American Idol Season 11.

Simon Cowell, who had judged her on American Idol, commented on her return and acknowledged her artistic growth. Other judges, including Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Sofía Vergara, responded to the performance during the episode.
