Pindi to get water boost

RAWALPINDI:

Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Managing Director Saleem Ashraf has announced that a Rs35 billion project, supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), will provide 25 million gallons per day (MGD) of water to Rawalpindi city.

Additionally, the Dhodcha Dam project will supply another 35 MGD of water to the city, which will help meet its growing water needs. He further stated that, like other initiatives, a program under the Indus Water Ghazi Barotha project is also underway.
