Machine Gun Kelly has unveiled his latest single, "Vampire Diaries," a track from his upcoming album Lost Americana.
Produced by Travis Barker, the guitar-driven song is accompanied by a unique music video where MGK dances through a natural history museum, despite the absence of any vampires. The video, directed by Sam Cahill, features choreography by Sean Bankhead, who previously worked on MGK's hit "Cliché."
Lost Americana is set for release on August 8 and serves as the follow-up to his 2022 album Mainstream Sellout. The album's lead single, "Cliché," dropped earlier this summer. Fans can pre-order Lost Americana ahead of its global release.
In celebration of the album's release, MGK will host a three-day event in Cleveland, Ohio, from August 8-10, marking MGK Day. The event will feature a mix of music, art, community engagement, and philanthropy to honor the artist's local influence.
The Cleveland-native also made headlines with an acoustic version of "Cliché," dubbed the "sad version." Known for his genre-defying style, MGK has seen major success with past projects like Tickets to My Downfall, which topped the Billboard 200 in 2020, and his Grammy-nominated album Mainstream Sellout. Both albums solidified his place as a prominent figure in the rock and pop-punk scenes.
