Tori Kelly announces first pregnancy with husband André Murillo
Tori Kelly is pregnant with her first baby with husband André Murillo, calling it a "gift from God" amid her tour.
Grammy-winning singer Tori Kelly is expecting her first child with husband André Murillo. The couple, who tied the knot in May 2018, shared the news exclusively with PEOPLE, calling the baby “a little gift from God.”
Currently on a European stadium tour with Ed Sheeran, Kelly, 32, expressed deep gratitude for this chapter in her life, saying, “This year has already been full of highs — getting to perform in stadiums all summer, writing the most personal songs of my career and now getting to start a family.”
The announcement came with a heartwarming video featuring the couple sharing intimate moments at home and on the beach. The video was soundtracked by a romantic snippet from Kelly’s upcoming music project, where she sings lyrics like, “Let’s make a baby.”
Kelly and Murillo, 35, began dating in 2016 and got engaged the following year. They’ve kept much of their relationship private but have occasionally shared glimpses into their bond, including appearances at public events like NBA games.
The pregnancy news follows Kelly’s health scare in July 2023, when she was hospitalized due to blood clots. Since then, she’s recovered, released her latest album TORI. in April 2024, and has spoken about embracing life’s fragility.
Now, the singer says she’s “ready for what comes next.”
