The Superman world premiere took place at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on July 7, 2025, introducing DC Studios’ rebooted universe under James Gunn and Peter Safran.
James Gunn, writer and director, arrived with actor Jennifer Holland, to whom he is married, wearing a deep navy blue suit paired with a white shirt.
David Corenswet, cast as Clark Kent, wore a navy pinstripe three-piece suit by Ralph Lauren Purple Label. The ensemble featured subtle vertical stripes, a fitted vest, and a classic silhouette.
Rachel Brosnahan, portraying Lois Lane, wore a custom Ralph Lauren Collection sequin dress in deep purple. The gown included shoulder straps, a high slit, and sequined detailing. Her look was styled with a sleek bun and neutral makeup.
Nicholas Hoult, who plays Lex Luthor, wore a Saint Laurent look, as confirmed by Just Jared, consisting of a black blazer, white shirt, striped tie, and black leather trousers. The materials and silhouette differed from the more traditional suits seen on other cast members.
Also present were Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Edi Gathegi, and Anthony Carrigan, representing the wider Gods and Monsters ensemble.
The premiere focused on introducing the film’s tone and cast presence.
Superman opens in theaters worldwide on July 11, 2025.
