Joyner Lucas takes center stage in Skepta’s UK vs US rap clash invitation

Skepta, who originally proposed a series of transatlantic lyrical face-offs, posted a follow-up video where he clarified his approach to the idea and mentioned that Joyner would “get two bars” in a track primarily aimed at A$AP Rocky.

Skepta responds to Joyner Lucas calling him out for a clash:

“You make up the numbers out there”

“When I make my diss track for [A$AP] Rocky I’m gonna give you 2 bars”

Joyner responded soon after with a sarcastic post, questioning why he was invited to clash only to be given a passing mention.

His reaction suggested frustration or amusement at being sidelined after stepping up, and helped further ignite the debate across fan communities on both sides of the Atlantic.
