The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday announced the selection of 30 players for the third phase of the U19 Skills Assessment Camp, set to begin from Monday, 7 July in Multan and continue until the end of August.

The 20 new players were picked following a detailed match-based assessment process conducted in two earlier phases, during which 65 players were evaluated under the supervision of Azhar Ali, Head of Youth Development. Additionally, 10 players who have previously represented Pakistan U19 and are eligible for the ICC U19 World Cup 2026 have been added to the camp.

Players born on or after 1 September 2006 are eligible to participate in the upcoming ICC U19 World Cup. The third phase aims to fine-tune both the technical and mental skills of the selected players as part of PCB's wider strategy to build a strong pool for future international assignments, including the ACC U19 Asia Cup and the ICC U19 World Cup.

During the earlier stages, players were divided into two groups and each group played four competitive matches. This setup helped coaches and selectors assess key attributes such as batting, bowling, fielding, and game awareness under match conditions.

Players selected in U19 skills assessment camp:

Abbas Khan, Abdul Wahab, Ali Hassan Baloch, Asad Umar, Daniyal Ali Khan, Ghulam Haider, Hamza Zahoor, Haroon Khan, Hazrat Ali, Huzaifa Ahsan, Ibtisam Azhar, Mohammad Arshad, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Niqab Shafiq, Rana Adeel Mushtaq, Rizwanullah, Saad Sakhawat, Sadeeq Aman, Sameer Minhas and Yahya Shah

Players with prior U19 representation added to the third phase:
