Pop star Ava Max has officially postponed her upcoming 2025 tour, originally set to begin on September 3 in Los Angeles.

The “Sweet But Psycho” singer shared the news via Instagram, expressing her need for more time to ensure the quality of her performances meets her standards.

The tour was scheduled to run through October, wrapping up with a final show in Chicago. However, Ava explained that the production isn’t where she wants it to be yet. “Pushing back my tour is the most difficult decision I’ve had to make,” she wrote. “When I perform for you, it has to be of a standard that I’m happy with, and it’s just not there yet.”

She reassured fans that the delay is temporary and promised a worthwhile return. “Being on stage is my favorite thing in the world. In order to put on a show that you all deserve, I need more time. I promise you all it will be worth the wait.”

This announcement comes just weeks ahead of her upcoming album release, Don’t Click Play, which drops on August 22. Ava Max also recently released a new single titled Wet, Hot American Dream as part of her promotional rollout.

Though fans may be disappointed by the delay, the singer’s transparency and dedication to quality have been well received, with many expressing support across social media.
