
The highly anticipated trailer for the animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss's The Cat in the Hat is set to drop today, much to the excitement of fans. Warner Bros. Animation has been working on the project for years, and now the mischievous Cat is about to make his big-screen return.
Bill Hader, who voices the iconic Cat, made the announcement on Monday through a surprise video shared on X.

The actor revealed that the official trailer would be released on Tuesday, July 1, building anticipation for the film's reimagining of the classic Dr. Seuss tale. Hader also introduced the all-star voice cast, which includes Tiago Martinez, Tituss Burgess, Giancarlo Esposito, Quinta Brunson, Bowen Yang, Xochitl Gomez, Matt Berry, and Paula Pell, among others.
The Cat in the Hat follows the story of the mischievous cat who shows up at the house of siblings Sally and her brother, causing chaos and fun in the process. The animated film promises to bring the classic tale to life with vibrant animation and a fresh take on the Cat's wild adventures.
The film has been in development since 2018, when Warner Animation Group and Dr. Seuss Enterprises partnered to create new animated adaptations of Dr. Seuss's timeless works. The upcoming Cat in the Hat will mark the character's first animated big-screen appearance, after the live-action version starring Mike Myers was released in 2003.
