Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are reportedly celebrating their honeymoon in Sicily following their lavish £40 million wedding in Venice.
The newlyweds are said to be staying at the historic Four Seasons San Domenico Palace, famously featured in HBO’s The White Lotus Season 2.
On Sunday, the couple was seen departing the Aman Venice hotel by boat, reportedly lunching in Torcello before flying by helicopter to Bezos’ $500 million superyacht, Koru. The yacht is expected to dock in Taormina, where the luxurious hotel—offering suites over €7,000 per night—is located.
The three-day wedding, held on San Giorgio Maggiore island, was described as the “wedding of the century,” with nearly 200 VIP guests in attendance. Celebrities like Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Leonardo DiCaprio, Oprah Winfrey, Tom Brady, Orlando Bloom, and Bill Gates were among the attendees.
Highlights from the celebration included performances by Usher and DJ Cassidy, a no-phone policy, and a private ceremony. According to Daily Mail sources, the couple had already been legally married in the U.S. before the event and signed a prenuptial agreement to safeguard Bezos’ $244 billion fortune.
Lauren Sanchez stunned in a rose pink Atelier Versace gown, while Bezos adopted a more casual style post-wedding. The San Domenico Palace, their honeymoon destination, boasts a rich legacy, once hosting icons like Sophia Loren and Oscar Wilde.
