A ward councillor and his two-year-old son lost their lives after their car fell in a canal in Husri area of Hyderabad on Saturday.
Some local people dived in the waterway to save lives of Mohsin Rajput and his son Zulqarnain Rajput but the high water flows stymied their attempt. Later, a crane of Rescue 1122 pulled out the car. Rajput was returning to his home when his car went out of control and fell in the waterway.
