Love Island USA’s latest fire‑pit ceremony drew sharp criticism when Hannah and Jeremiah were eliminated after public voting.

Nic’s text confirmed the public had chosen the bottom three men and women. For the women, Iris, Hannah and Amaya were vulnerable; the men’s lowest were Jeremiah, Austin and Pepe. Yet the final decision lay with the cast. Chelley and Taylor announced Hannah and Jeremiah’s exit, prompting widespread viewer outcry.

Many viewers expressed frustration over the elimination results, alleging that the public vote was manipulated. Fans claimed technical issues with the voting app prevented them from casting their votes and criticised the decision to let islanders choose who went home, especially when popular contestants were among those at risk.

The uproar grew when fans noted an error message they received while voting, which they suspect affected results.

Despite heartfelt deliberations among Olandria, Cierra, Huda, Chelley, Nic, Taylor and Ace, choosing between close friends sparked emotional drama. Chelley said it was “tearing apart” the group before tears followed Hannah’s exit.

With the show halfway through, the Islanders are gearing up for Casa Amor, Love Island USA’s midpoint twist where original contestants split into two villas with new bombshells which usually kicks off around Episode 20, and runs for 3–5 episodes.

Love Island USA Season 7 airs six nights weekly (Thu–Tue) at 9 pm ET on Peacock, with Wednesdays off.
