Oprah Winfrey and Bishop T.D. Jakes have both publicly addressed and denied rumors linking them to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ alleged sex-fueled “freak-off” parties.
The speculation surfaced online amid Diddy’s ongoing legal troubles, including a federal racketeering trial tied to sexual misconduct and abuse allegations.
Speaking during a live appearance at T.D. Jakes’ Good Soil Forum in Dallas on June 19, Oprah firmly shut down the claims. “I have never been near a puff party,” she said. “Anybody who knows me knows if there is a party, I’m the first one out.” Her comments drew applause from a crowd of over 2,000 attendees.
Oprah Winfrey unexpectedly shut down rumors, saying she’s never been to a Diddy party and is always the first to leave any event.

T.D. Jakes also clarified his connection to Diddy, saying his only interaction was a brief, daytime visit to wish the rapper a happy birthday. “I stopped by Puffy’s house for 30 minutes… And out of that came a love affair and all kinds of stuff,” Jakes stated. “You can’t fight it… Our people don’t know that, and they help spread it.”
Both figures criticized the public’s obsession with scandal. “People love salacious stories,” Jakes added. “We’re drunk off things that don’t matter.”
Their denials come as Diddy faces multiple lawsuits and growing media scrutiny, with high-profile names caught in the storm of online speculation.
