RAWALPINDI:

As temperatures soar to nearly 45°C in the twin cities, health experts have issued a strong advisory urging residents to stay hydrated and take necessary precautions to avoid heat-related illnesses.

Speaking on Sunday, Dr Hassan Tahir emphasized the importance of regular water intake, even in the absence of thirst. "Your body needs water to stay cool in this extreme heat," he said. "Drinking water constantly helps regulate body temperature and prevents dehydration-related complications."

Dr Tahir recommended drinking water throughout the day.
