The Civil Defense Department on Friday sealed three illegal petrol shops on Kot Fareed Road and Zafar colony. The team led by Civil Defence Officer Ghulam Mustafa, conducted raids at various locations.
During the operation, one unauthorized petrol dispensing machine was confiscated from Dhadhi Jat Colony, reportedly owned by Fahad. Two were sealed on Kot Fareed road owned by Irfan and Faseel, and one in Zafar Colony run by Muhammad Irfan.
Authorities stated that the crackdown was part of a broader effort to protect lives and property from the dangers associated with unsafe and unregulated fuel sales.
"There will be zero tolerance for those risking public safety by selling petrol illegally," said Civil Defence Officer Ghulam Mustafa. He urged citizens to support the administration by reporting such illegal activities.
