In a landmark move to address the growing impacts of climate change, the Balochistan government has approved the establishment of a dedicated Climate Change Fund.
Announced under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the fund aims to bolster environmental protection, promote sustainable development, and enhance the province's resilience to climate-related threats.
The newly approved fund will serve as both a financial and strategic instrument, supporting a broad range of environmental initiatives. These include the conservation of natural resources, development of eco-friendly infrastructure, and implementation of low-carbon projects.
