Robbers kill bike mechanic on resistance

KARACHI:

Armed robbers shot dead a motorcycle mechanic on his resistance in New Karachi, the police said.

According to the police, the incident took place when victim Muhammad Nasir returned home after closing his workshop. As he reached near his home, two armed men riding a motorcycle intercepted him and snatched his mobile phone at gunpoint. As the suspects attempted to flee, Nasir pursued their bike. In retaliation, the bandits opened indiscriminate fire. Four bullets hit Nasir and he sustained serious injuries. He was rushed to a hospital, where he breathed his last during the treatment. He was the father of three children.
