The cause of death for Kylie Jenner’s hairstylist, Jesus Guerrero, has been confirmed as severe pneumonia, TMZ reports.

According to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner, Guerrero, who was 34, contracted pneumonia and the fungal infection Cryptococcus neoformans, which occurred due to a weakened immune system. His death has been classified as natural.

Guerrero was admitted to a hospital in Los Angeles on February 21 after reporting feeling unwell. He passed away the following day. An autopsy was performed on March 5, and the results were officially concluded on June 2.

Before his death, Guerrero had been experiencing health issues since September 2024, including significant weight loss and symptoms like chills and hot flashes. Despite his declining health, he continued to honor his work commitments, traveling to various locations such as Ireland, England, and the UAE. After returning from a trip to the UAE, he sought medical attention and passed away shortly thereafter.

Guerrero’s sister described his passing as "sudden and unexpected" and shared the news with great sadness. His family expressed their heartbreak through social media, thanking friends, fans, and celebrities for their support. Kylie Jenner, who worked closely with Guerrero, covered the costs of transporting his body back to Houston and announced that she would pay for the funeral expenses.

The hairstylist, who was beloved in the entertainment industry, had worked with stars like Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, and Jenner herself. His death has left the Hollywood community in mourning, with tributes pouring in from across the industry.

Guerrero's unexpected passing has left many questions unanswered, as his health had worsened rapidly despite efforts to seek medical help.
