Netflix officially confirmed Lady Gaga’s guest role in Wednesday season 2 during its Tudum 2025 live event, where it also debuted the first six minutes of the upcoming season.
Gaga, now set to play Rosaline Rotwood, a mysterious teacher at Nevermore Academy, made a dramatic entrance from a coffin before performing a theatrical set that included "Bloody Mary", "Abracadabra", "Zombieboy", and a viral dance sequence alongside Wednesday-themed dancers.
The teaser clip revealed Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday captured in a serial killer’s lair, followed by flashbacks of her hunting the Kansas City Scalper during summer break. The footage offered the season’s signature mix of gothic wit and psychic mystery.
While further details of Gaga’s character remain under wraps, her role in the series was heavily anticipated since her song "Bloody Mary" went viral alongside the first season’s dance scene.
The Tudum event also showcased returning cast members, including Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Fred Armisen, and Isaac Ordonez, with new additions like Steve Buscemi and Joanna Lumley.
Wednesday Season 2 will premiere in two parts, with Part 1 arriving on August 6, 2025, and Part 2 following on September 3.
