
A man opened fire on his family, injuring his parents, younger brother and an uncle in Korangi on Thursday. The accused, identified as Azwar Khan, has been taken into custody by the Awami Colony police.
According to police, the shooting was allegedly triggered by a property dispute in which 60-year-old Muhammad Zafar, his wife Rehana, 60, their 24-year-old son Rahat, and 50-year-old Sikandar, a relative, were injured. All were shifted to JPMC where their conditions are reported to be stable.
Munawar Khan, the uncle of the suspect, told the media that the shooting was the result of a disagreement over a relationship.
