Justin and Hailey Bieber have built separate and impressive careers since marrying in 2018. But a new milestone in Hailey’s career has reignited the question — who’s the richer Bieber?

On May 28, Hailey announced that her skincare company, rhode, had been acquired by e.l.f. Beauty in a deal valued at $1 billion. In her own words, “I am so incredibly excited and proud to announce that we are partnering with e.l.f. Beauty as we step into this next chapter in the world of rhode.”

Hailey added, “I found a like-minded disruptor with a vision to be a different kind of company that believes in big ideas and innovation in the same way that I do and will help us continue to grow the brand. I feel invigorated, excited and more ready than ever.”

While Hailey transitions into her new roles at rhode, Justin Bieber has had a longstanding presence in the music industry. In December 2022, he sold his 291-song catalogue to Hipgnosis Songs Capital for a reported $200 million. Over his career, Justin has released six studio albums and sold over 60 million album equivalents worldwide.

The Grammy winner has also ventured into fashion, most notably with Drew House, though he later announced he was no longer affiliated. His rumoured next brand, SKYLRK, has yet to launch.

Despite recent speculation around his financial status, a rep stated in April 2025, “This is just clickbait stupidity based on unnamed — and clearly ill-informed — ‘sources’.”

While Justin’s music legacy is substantial, Hailey’s billion-dollar business deal may now place her ahead financially.
