President Asif Zardari has emphasized that fostering mutual understanding and promoting political dialogue is the need of the hour to ensure the continuity of democracy and the strengthening of state institutions.
He said that sustainable solutions to public issues require inclusive consultation and cooperation among all segments of society.
The president expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation of the PPP south Punjab at Governor House Lahore.
The meeting discussed in detail the longstanding issues facing south Punjab. The delegation apprised the president of the region's challenges.
