Detroit rapper Trevon Gardner, known professionally as Skilla Baby, was hospitalised following a targeted drive-by shooting in Redford on Thursday evening, according to multiple sources.
The incident occurred near the intersection of 8 Mile and Beech Daly. Preliminary details indicate that Gardner was allegedly targeted while travelling in a black SUV.
The vehicle sustained multiple gunshots before veering off the road and crashing into a nearby building.

Reporters on the scene observed numerous bullet casings marked by evidence indicators scattered along 8 Mile, confirming the intensity of the shooting.
Sources state Gardner was grazed by bullets in the head and back and sustained a gunshot wound to the hand. He was transported to a local hospital where he remains alert and is expected to recover.
Redford police are actively investigating the incident. As of Thursday night, no suspect information has been released and no arrests have been made.
