Girl allegedly kidnapped returns home

Girl gave contradictory statements which create doubt whether girl was really kidnapped or it was some personal issue

A BEd first year student, who went missing from Joharabad and a report of her alleged kidnapping was lodged by her brother, has returned home. She was brought back by her fiancé from Hyderabad.

The investigating officials mentioned, the girl — Fiza daughter of Saleem — was brought to Karachi by her fiancé from Hyderabad. The police were informed after a long time after the she came back, keeping the police unaware of the latest development.

According to the girl's family, after Fiza went missing, she sent a message to the family stating that she was kidnapped by unknown persons riding a high roof van. There were other girls as well in the van. Her family told the police that the girl contacted her fiancé after she could not contact her brother and told fiancé that she was in Hyderabad.

After the information about her presence in Hyderabad, the police were preparing to go to Hyderabad to recover the girl, the police learned that she had come back to Karachi. The allegedly kidnapped girl called her fiancé from Hyderabad using rickshaw driver's mobile phone and informed him about her location. The 'kidnapped' girl did not go to any police station in Hyderabad and instead returned home with her fiancé. However, police officials say that they are investigating the matter keeping different aspects in view.
