Three most-wanted 'terrorists' held; arms, explosives recovered

The gathering included AI professionals and technology experts from various institutions.

KARACHI:

The Sindh Rangers and CTD police, in a joint operation in Mehran Town, Korangi, arrested three most wanted terrorists belonging to Fitna-al-Khawarij. Arms, ammunition and explosives were recovered from their possession.

The arrested terrorists were identified as Naimatullah alias Abid, Noor alias Mani and Sabirullah alias Daniyal. The suspects reportedly belong to Fitna-al-Khawarij commander Roman Raees and Islam Deen Group.

The accused are military trained. They were sent to Karachi by Fitna-al-Khawarij commanders Roman Raees and Islamuddin for extortion, target killing and terrorist operations, besides targeting the security forces.

During interrogation the arrested accused Naimatullah revealed that he joined the Fitna-al-Khawarij, Mufti Noor Wali group, in 2018. He received military training in Barmal, Afghanistan and was involved in several military operations in Waziristan.

The accused was arrested in 2019 during a terrorist operation in Wana, Waziristan and was sent to jail.

After his release, he became active again and was arrested again in KP in 2021 and was released after spending some time in jail. He again joined the group of Fitna-al-Khawarij commander Islamuddin and came to Karachi with his other associates for terrorist activities.
