K-P tightens school security after Khuzdar attack

Following the recent suicide attack on a school van in Khuzdar, Balochistan, which tragically claimed the lives of several children, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police have taken swift action to strengthen security at schools across the province.

Police officials have formally alerted the Department of Education, urging enhanced safety measures at all educational institutions. In response to the security advisory, the Directorate of Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued a directive to all District Education Officers, including those in the merged tribal districts.

The directive emphasizes the need for school heads to ensure the security of their respective institutions. It calls for the implementation of all necessary precautions to protect students and staff from any potential threats.

Authorities have stressed the importance of proactive steps to prevent any untoward incident, underscoring that student safety remains a top priority.
