Preliminary investigations revealed that Darvesh played a key role in facilitating members of both the BLA and BLF

KARACHI:

The Sindh Rangers and police, in an intelligence-based joint operation in Lyari area, apprehended an alleged member of banned Baloch Militant Organisation. The suspect was identified as Darvesh alias Saargar. Arms, ammunition, including hand grenades were recovered from his possession.

According to the official spokesperson, Darvesh, a resident of the Sargodha locality in Lyari, has a longstanding affiliation with banned militant groups. He joined the Baloch Students Organisation-Azad (BSO-A) in 2015 and later became part of a faction led by Farooq Baloch, an operative of the banned outfit - Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), in 2018.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Darvesh played a key role in facilitating members of both the BLA and the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF). He worked alongside key associates, including Farooq Baloch and Majeed alias Baba, to provide logistical support to these groups.
