Justin Bieber apologizes to Hailey for saying she’d never make a Vogue cover
Justin Bieber publicly apologizes to Hailey Bieber for saying she'd never land a Vogue cover in a now-deleted post.
Justin Bieber has issued a public apology to his wife, Hailey Bieber, for a hurtful comment he made in the past regarding her career. Following Hailey’s latest Vogue magazine cover, the 31-year-old singer shared photos from the shoot and admitted that he once told her she’d “never be on the cover of Vogue.”
In a since-deleted Instagram caption, Justin wrote: “Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight. I told hails that she would never be on the cover of Vogue. Yikes I know, so mean.” He explained that the remark stemmed from feeling “disrespected” and trying to “get even.”
Justin continued, “I think as we mature, we realize we’re not helping anything by getting even. We’re just prolonging what we really want — intimacy and connection.” He concluded the post with a heartfelt apology, writing, “So baby, u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a Vogue cover cuz clearly I was sadly mistaken.”
After backlash from fans, Justin deleted the caption and replaced it with emojis. Some fans defended his honesty, while others criticized the post as embarrassing for Hailey.
Following this, Bieber shared another Instagram post with the caption: “On hard days like today these rare little creatures give me some joy,”. While some followers viewed this as a vulnerable moment, others criticized it as an attempt to shift attention from Hailey’s achievement to his personal feelings.
Despite the controversy, Hailey's Vogue feature was a major milestone. In the interview, she opened up about postpartum challenges, internet rumors, and her bond with Justin.
The couple, who wed in 2018 and welcomed their son Jack Blues in August 2024, continue to navigate public scrutiny. Justin called marrying Hailey the “smartest thing” he’s ever done and praised her grace under pressure.
The deleted post has since sparked discussions on growth, accountability, and public vulnerability in celebrity relationships.
