Glacial melting raises water level

HARIPUR:

The inflow of water into Tarbela Dam is continuously increasing due to the melting of glaciers in the northern areas and recent rains. The water storage in Tarbela Dam has risen 62 feet above the dead level.

The water level has been recorded at 1464.45 level. The inflow of water into the dam has been recorded at 97,900 cusecs.
