LAHORE:

The Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Pakistan Dr Irfan Neziroglu has reaffirmed brotherly ties between the two countries and expressing strong interest in expanding humanitarian cooperation.

He expressed these views during his visit the headquarters of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan in Lahore on Thursday. Dr Neziroglu was received by President Alkhidmat Foundation Dr Hafeezur Rehman, Secretary General Syed Waqas Jafri and other senior officials of the organisation.

During his visit, the envoy was given a comprehensive tour of the Alkhidmat Complex and was briefed on the Foundation's wide-ranging relief and development initiatives, both in Pakistan and globally.

"Our nations have always supported each other in times of hardship. Our collaboration with Turkish humanitarian organisations is a source of pride," he stated.
