A man decapitated his wife over property on Thursday evening. Police officials handed over the victim’s body to her family for burial on Saturday.
According to police officials, Shadiwal Kotli Loharraan tehsil resident Bilal cut his wife Saima’s head off over a property battle a few days ago. Neighbours told police officials that Saima had refused to hand over her property to her husband and would not sign the papers despite his insistence.
On Friday, Bilal killed her by slicing her throat with a wood chopping machine after he drugged her and carried her outside to his workshop. “There was blood everywhere when we went to investigate, he had used a mechanical slicer used to chop wooden logs,” a villager told police officials.
Saima was the mother of two minor children. Police officials sent the body for an autopsy and neighbours protested against the incident.
Kotli Loharaan police have registered a case against the accused husband Bilal, with no arrest.
The grieved family has expressed grave concern over this brutal murder, demanding the immediate arrest of the accused. Police officials said that Bilal had fled the scene but police teams were searching for him.

Doing this to the mother of his own two minor kids? Some people complaint that I do not have anything positive to say about news from Pakistan!
Small towns and villages of Punjab have a moral crisis. There is an urgent need of forced education in all villages and entire Punjab. There are so many horrific barbaric stories coming out. . . . it is monstrous!!!! Strict law against such acts need to be enforced with zero tolerance!
Gruesome! Man can stoop to this level of bestiality for money, overall fabric of society in Pakistan is losing its grip over morality. We are faced with a massive moral degeneration. Society may undergo a massive natural replenishment.
