India's butcher will no longer dare to cast an evil eye toward Pakistan, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and provincial cabinet ministers said.
They said that the Pakistani armed forces - army, navy, and air force - shattered India's arrogance within just a few hours, turning what India believed to be its superpower status into a heap of dust.
These remarks were made during "Yaum-e-Tashakkur" or thanksgiving day celebratory event organized by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Karachi Division at Nishan-e-Pakistan at Sea View, Clifton on Thursday.
As part of the celebration, the Sindh Department of Tourism and Culture arranged a 40-foot-long float, where artists performed patriotic songs and paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces for their victory. Artists stirred patriotic fervour among thousands of PPP workers and office-bearers who had come from all districts of Karachi by singing national songs.
Speaking at the event, CM Murad Ali Shah thanked PPP Karachi Division President Saeed Ghani and Minister for Culture Syed Zulfiqar Shah for organising the event. "We thank the people of Pakistan and our armed forces, who brought everyone together in unity," he said.
"Our military has brought honour to our country and hit Modi so hard that he saw stars in daylight," the CM added. "God willing, the Pakistani nation will always stand tall, and the butcher of Gujrat will never even dare to think about waging war on Pakistan again. He will not even be able to glance at us with evil intent."
Sindh Energy, Planning & Development Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said, "first and foremost, we bow in gratitude before Almighty Allah, who granted us victory over the disbelievers." He reiterated that all three branches of Pakistan's military humiliated India's pride, reducing its superpower illusion to dust.
"Today, as we celebrate this victory with gratitude to our Lord, we also pay tribute to our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for this country," he said.
Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon declared May 15 a day of great significance. He said that following the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and Faryal Talpur, the Sindh government and the Pakistan Peoples Party observed Victory Day and Thanksgiving Day across the province.
He stated that this triumph will be remembered by future generations as a moment when Pakistan's soldiers defeated India with courage and resolve.
"It will be recorded in history in golden letters," he added. Addressing a ceremony to mark the occasion, Sharjeel said, "A clear message has been sent to the world that if there is a true super tiger in Asia, it is Pakistan."
Meanwhile, senior leader of the PPP Faryal Talpur described the historic victory over India as a symbol of national unity, military valour, and political harmony.
The event concluded with a spectacular fireworks display. Speakers at the event included Provincial Ministers Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Saeed Ghani, Syed Zulfiqar Shah, Government Spokesperson Saadia Javed, Samita Afzal, Ali Rashid, Karachi Deputy Mayor Salman Abdullah Murad, and others.
