One held for killing woman, kidnapping her daughter

Police recover minor girl, search for four absconding accomplices

The police arrested a suspect on charges of killing a woman and kidnapping her daughter over a plot dispute in Jam Goth, Manghopir and recovered the kidnapped girl. Four suspects, including the main suspect, involved in the incident, are absconding and efforts are being made to nab them.

According to the details, unidentified armed suspects opened fire and killed 40-year-old woman Nasreen, wife of Naseebzada, in Jam Goth area of Manghopir police station on Sunday night. After killing the woman, the suspects took 8-year-old daughter Ayman of the victims with them. A case of murder of the woman and kidnapping of her daughter was registered at Manghopir police station on the complaint of the murdered woman's son Usman.

Manghopir police conducted an intelligence-based operation and arrested Noman, son of Sher Khan, and rescued the kidnapped minor girl. The arrested accused Noman revealed during the investigation that he killed the woman and kidnapped her daughter over a plot dispute. Four persons including Habib, Waqari, Zarkhavi and his cousin were also involved in the killing of the woman and kidnapping her minor daughter. Police are making efforts to apprehend the absconding culprits. The accused told during the investigation that the weapon used in the incident was brought by Habib and it was Habib who shot and killed the woman.
