A$AP Rocky confirms baby number 3 will have an 'R' name like their other children

A$AP Rocky has confirmed that baby number three will stick with the family’s naming tradition.

Following Rihanna’s third pregnancy reveal just hours before her 2025 MET Gala appearance, Rocky appeared on the May 7 episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers, where he shared a bit about the couple’s baby-naming plans.

The rapper whose real name is Rakim Mayers, and Rihanna, already parents to sons RZA and Riot, seem committed to the ‘R’ theme.

“Your first two kids have ‘R’ names, obviously you and Rihanna have ‘R’ names,” Meyers said during the interview.

“Is this a lock that the third will have an ‘R’ name, do you think?” Rocky answered, “For sure,” confirming fans’ speculation that baby No. 3 will also carry an ‘R’ name.

The 36-year-old rapper served as one of the co-chairs at the 2025 Met Gala, where Rihanna made her pregnancy public by debuting her baby bump.

Despite expecting, the 37-year-old singer isn’t planning to pause her music plans.

While the visuals for her long-awaited ninth album might be delayed, she told the outlet, “Maybe a couple videos, but I can sing.”
