Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that Pakistan launched Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos in response to India’s repeated acts of aggression, stressing that “victory will be Pakistan’s.”

Speaking to Geo News on Saturday, Dar said that Pakistan’s armed forces were fully prepared, and that the country could not afford to take any risks given the situation. “We undertook this action purely as a defensive measure,” he stated.

He urged the international community to recognise India’s role in destabilising the region. “It is the responsibility of the world to make India understand the gravity of its mistake,” he said.

The DPM accused India of spreading misinformation over the past 48 hours. “India has lied continuously and launched covert missile and drone attacks on us,” he added, noting that India would not be able to prove any nuclear superiority.

He made it clear that Pakistan would not remain passive in the face of repeated provocations. “It cannot be that India keeps acting while we sit and wait,” Dar remarked.

His statement comes as Pakistan continues its military and cyber operations under Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, targeting Indian military installations and strategic infrastructure in response to recent cross-border hostilities.
