SC seeks ECP reply on PB-21 dispute

The Supreme Court has directed the Election Commission of Pakistan to submit its reply in the case concerning an electoral dispute in PB-21.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Shahid Waheed heard a petition filed by Saleh Bhotani. ECP lawyer Khwaja Haris informed the court that a case related to PB-21 is currently under trial in the Election Tribunal.

Justice Waheed said that the matters are separate and directed the ECP to submit a response.

The ECP lawyer mentioned that the SC bench had directed the ECP to decide the case according to the law.
