Trader killed over financial dispute

The assailants fled the scene immediately after the attack.

LAHORE:

A local trader dealing in scrap metal was gunned down in Nawab Town on Friday in what police described as a fatal altercation over a financial dispute.

The suspects were traced and arrested shortly after the incident with the help of modern technology. Police said the victim, identified as Tariq, was shot and killed by three individuals Shehzad, Waqar, and Usama following a disagreement over monetary dealings.

The assailants fled the scene immediately after the attack. Upon receiving information, police arrived at the spot, shifted the body to a nearby hospital for post-mortem, and launched an investigation.

"Using modern surveillance tools and swift intelligence gathering, all three suspects were tracked down and taken into custody," said a police spokesperson.
