SHERGARH:

An attempt to abduct a child in Shergarh was thwarted on Thursday.

According to details, Safiullah, a 7th-grade student at Government Middle School Shamoon Kalay, Shirgarh, and a resident of Shah Zaman Qila, Musa Khel Kalay, claimed that while on his way to school the previous day, unknown individuals forcefully put him into an Alto car.

They allegedly placed a drug-soaked cloth over his face and injected him with a narcotic, causing him to lose consciousness. The kidnappers then abandoned him at Khatan Checkpoint near the Shirgarh stream and fled.

When Safiullah did not return home after school, his parents began searching for him. Upon regaining consciousness, the child reached Harichand Road and went to his neighbor Zubair, who runs a hotel. Zubair took him home on a motorcycle and handed him over to his father.

A daily incident report has been filed at the Shirgarh police station based on Safiullah's account.
