The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has formally accepted the intra-party elections of the Pakistan Muslim LeagueQuaid (PML-Q), held earlier last month.
According to an ECP spokesperson, the commission has published the official certificate of PML-Q's intra-party elections.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain was elected as the party's president, while Chaudhry Salik Hussain was elected as senior vice president.
Mohammad Tariq Hassan was elected as the party's secretary general. However, Tariq Bashir Cheema had excused himself from contesting the elections.
