Opposition unveils 15-point charter
The Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-Aain-e-Pakistan on Monday unveiled a comprehensive 15-point national agenda, calling for the restoration of fundamental rights and the confinement of the armed forces to their constitutionally defined role.
The alliance called for urgent national unity in light of growing internal crises and mounting regional tensions, including threats emanating from India.
Key demands outlined in the agenda include strict adherence to the Constitution, full implementation of the National Action Plan, the release of political prisoners, independence of the judiciary and media, and the immediate conduct of transparent general and local government elections.
