ECC approves solarisation of 27,000 tube-wells
The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) on Monday approved the solarisation of 27,000 agriculture tube-wells in Balochistan with an estimated cost of Rs55 billion in order to uplift and develop the agriculture sector of the province.
The ECC met in the federal capital with Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb in chair and considered a summary moved by the Power Division regarding the solarisation of 27,000 agri tube-wells in Balochistan as decided by the prime minister on July 2, 2024, at an estimated cost of Rs55 billion born by the federal and provincial governments at a ratio of 70 % and 30% respectively.
