Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has emphasized the need for unity against Israel, India, and the United States, warning that anyone who goes against the state's policy regarding Israel will be made an example.
Addressing the "National Conference for Solidarity with Palestine" organized by JUI-F in Lahore on Sunday, Rehman said they consider Israel and its patron, the United States, as terrorists. America is involved, wherever there is bloodshed, he added.
He said generations of Palestinians are sacrificing their lives and are pleading with the world for help. "Do Muslims lack resources? We have air forces and aircraft. Unfortunately, the power of resourcesthe power of oilis entirely overshadowed by fear of the United States."
He said that the country was founded on the basis of the Kalima yet the leaders are afraid of the US. "Our army should fight for Muslims and Kashmiris. This is the time to unite the entire nation; Gaza has awakened the whole world," he added.
The JI chief said a deal was about to be made and pressure was being exerted on Pakistan too to recognize Israel. "However, the Mujahideen of Gaza foiled this conspiracy," he said.
