Thunderbolts stars David Harbour and Wyatt Russell recently opened up about the nerve-wracking experience of watching the Avengers: Doomsday cast reveal livestream.

Despite knowing they were part of the upcoming Marvel Studios film, the two admitted to feeling anxious as their names took a while to appear.

During an interview with Screen Rant, Harbour and Russell joked about the stressful experience. Harbour confessed he grew worried after seeing about 20 other chairs before spotting his own name, while Russell said the long wait gave him "PTSD" as he frantically searched for his chair during the five-and-a-half-hour event.

The Avengers: Doomsday cast includes major Marvel names like Chris Hemsworth, Simu Liu, Paul Rudd, Letitia Wright, and members of The Fantastic Four: First Steps and the X-Men franchise. Still, even top-tier actors like Harbour and Russell were left mostly in the dark about the reveal process, adding to the growing sense of excitement—and confusion—around Marvel’s tight-lipped production.

Interestingly, both Harbour and Florence Pugh have shared that they have yet to read the full Avengers: Doomsday script, highlighting Marvel’s heavy secrecy surrounding the project. With Thunderbolts set for release on May 2, 2025, followed closely by The Fantastic Four: First Steps, the hype for Avengers: Doomsday is only heating up. Fans—and the cast—are in for a wild ride as the next chapter of the MCU unfolds.
