
The lawyers' community and traders organised separate rallies on Saturday to express solidarity with the armed forces and to denounce India's aggressive posturing.
At the City Courts, a 'Pakistan Zindabad' rally was staged, where a large number of lawyers, including many women, gathered to show their support for the armed forces. Passionate speeches were delivered emphasising the legal community's commitment to standing firm against any potential aggression from India.
Speakers said that Pakistan's progress and stability are a shared responsibility and reaffirmed their unwavering support for the armed forces.
Meanwhile, the All Karachi City Traders Alliance staged a separate rally from Chappal Market on MA Jinnah Road to the Saddar Mobile Market. Participants chanted slogans in support of Pakistan's armed forces, while condemning the Indian government's policies.
An effigy of Modi was also burned during the rally.
