BNP chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal has said that due to growing disillusionment with parliament, people are now being forced to resort to taking up arms.

He expressed these views while addressing the Kech Bar Association's event held at the Bar Room, where he was the chief guest speaking on the topic of "Pakistan's Judicial System and Human Rights Enshrined in the Constitution".

He said that people have become "completely disappointed and disillusioned with parliament", where there is no hope of achieving their rightful demands. "Sitting in a parliament where questioning and free expression are not allowed is nothing but a waste of time."
